Split Screen on iPhone allows users to view and interact with two apps simultaneously, side by side on the screen. This feature is particularly useful for multitasking, such as referencing notes while writing an email or browsing the web while watching a video.
To activate Split Screen, users must first ensure that the feature is enabled in the Settings app. Once enabled, users can activate Split Screen by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and pausing halfway. The Dock will appear, and users can then drag and drop one app icon onto the left or right side of the screen. The second app can then be selected from the remaining apps in the Dock or from the Home screen.
